Pursuant to RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, the barangay shall meet twice a year to hear and discuss the semestral report of the barangay concerning its activities and finances as well as problems concerning the barangay.
The Barangay Assembly Day for the First Semester of CY 2018 is set on March 31, 2018. On the day of the assembly, every barangay is enjoined to deliver the State of Barangay Address with emphasis on various barangay matters.
And for this year’ assembly, Sulong Calabarzon talks to Local Government Operations Officer Michiko Escalante to give light on the activities to be carried out by the barangay to ensure the effective and meaningful conduct of Barangay Assembly.
