Sulong Calabarzon: Capacity Development Program for Barangay Newly Elected Officials

Sulong Calabarzon opened its second season with a one-on-one interview with the new Assistant Regional Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office IV-A, Elias F. Fernandez, Jr where he shares his outlook and priorities as the new ARD of one of the DILG’s prime regional office.

Main highlight of the discussion focused on BNEO for GREAT Barangays—a capacity development programs for all barangay officials organized by the DILG and the Local Government Academy. Fernandez tells us the preparatory activities and implementing strategies being undertaken by the DILG IV-A to ensure effective implementation of the said capacity development program.
