Sulong Calabarzon talks to DILG IV-A Assistant Regional Director Ariel O. Iglesia on the latest updates of the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang (SK) elections.
Iglesia explains new developments of the upcoming polls including the calendar of activities, qualifications, and prohibited acts during the election period.
He also expounds details on the voters’ education and advocacy campaign dubbed “Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang Barangay and SK Officials” which aims to encourage the public not only to exercise their right of suffrage but also vote for leaders who can effect meaningful change in their communities.
The Assistant Regional Director also shares the DILG’s role in conducting peaceful and orderly elections.
