The state weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a new low pressure are (LPA) that is expected to bring rain to parts of the country in the next coming days.
In its 4:00 am bulletin, Thursday, PAGASA said the the LPA spotted at 830 km. east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon has slightly weakened but will continue to affect parts of Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan bringing cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile will continue to experience generally fair weather with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening. —R4A/DOST-PAGASA
