Southwest monsoon continues to bring rain in parts of PH

Most parts of the country will continue to experience light to moderate rains due to the prevailing Southwest Monsoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday, Sept. 20.

In its 4:00 am bulletin, PAGASA said that the weather system will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshoweres and thunderstorms over parts of Visayas, Mindanao, Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Mimaropa, Batanes including Babuyan Group of Islands.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to ocassionally strong winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Northen and Central parts of Luzon.

Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and the rest of the archipelago with slight to moderate seas. —R4A/DOST-PAGASA
